Job summary

Piping Rock Health Products, INC is seeking a Machine Operator to operate, monitor, and maintain capsule and tablet production equipment in a GMP environment. You will prepare equipment, feed powders, perform in-process checks, and document batch records to ensure product quality and timely delivery.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean work area, coordinating with supervisors and mechanics for equipment issues, and complying with SOPs and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience operating encapsulation or compression machinery in a manufacturing environment preferred; comparable experience considered.
• Ability to read and write in English and perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Basic computer literacy for data entry and recordkeeping.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively.
• Flexibility to work overtime or alternative shifts as needed.
• Must comply with GMP requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate encapsulation and compression equipment independently and in a team environment.
• Prepare equipment according to batch records and SOPs for production runs.
• Feed powders and raw materials into machines and monitor operational parameters.
• Perform in-process checks, including weight, length, and visual inspections of product.
• Document all production activities accurately in batch records and logbooks.
• Ensure products are manufactured according to quality specifications and within established timelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Alert supervisors and mechanics promptly regarding malfunctions or deviations.
• Ensure proper cleaning and transition of equipment between batches.
• Adhere to SOPs, cGMPs, and safety requirements.
• Support cross-training initiatives within manufacturing.
