Job Description

Responsible for selling Masimo’s Capnography Portfolio with an emphasis on Procedural Sedation and hospital-wide conversions. The role requires being collaborative, clinically curious, solution-focused, and passionate about improving patient outcomes and driving value for customers. Serves as a proactive team member, collaborating with the Acute Team to secure new business and expand existing accounts. Assists Account Managers in achieving sales targets and contract renewals.

Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Utilize Masimo’s sales process to convert competitive accounts to Masimo technology.
  2. Use Salesforce.com to track opportunities and update weekly.
  3. Conduct and assist with Capnography Assessments as part of the sales process.
  4. Deliver presentations discussing Masimo’s value proposition.
  5. Secure agreements for Procedural Sedation Capnography, including new conversions and renewals.
  6. Drive sales of capital products within the territory.
  7. Articulate clinical study data regarding Masimo technologies.
  8. Develop relationships with clinical thought leaders to showcase benefits related to patient care and outcomes.
  9. Collaborate with team members and provide market insights to marketing and management.
  10. Maintain and improve sales skills and adopt best practices.
  11. Organize user seminars to promote Masimo’s solutions.
  12. Maintain CRM data, including account profiles and sales opportunities.
  13. Coordinate clinical evaluations to build clinical champions.
  14. Conduct annual business reviews with customers and stakeholders.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of hospital-based sales experience, especially with clinicians.
  • Proven success selling medical devices or emerging technologies to multiple hospital decision points.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to persuade clinicians using clinical evidence and innovative solutions.
  • Clinical evaluation skills for Masimo technology, including research and focus groups.
  • Ability to communicate value-based solutions.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and possess a valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience selling paradigm-shifting patient care solutions.
  • Track record of building clinical champions.
  • Knowledge in critical care or respiratory therapy is a plus.
  • Experience in hospital environments such as Cath Lab, IR Lab, GI Endoscopy, or Emergency Department.
Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Compensation

Salary range: $75,000 - $90,000 plus benefits, with potential variable compensation up to $115,000 based on objectives.

Work Environment

Primarily outside a traditional office, involving frequent customer visits, extensive travel, and daily use of digital devices. Must have a valid driver’s license and meet physical demands of travel and field work. Reasonable accommodations available for disabilities.
