Qualifications

• Completion of Capital Police Officer Trainee program or equivalent law enforcement training.
• Active motor vehicle license required.
• Must be 21 years or older at application.
• Active MPOETC certification prior to appointment and maintained during employment.
• PA residency and ability to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

• Patrol buildings and grounds to maintain security and safety.
• Investigate incidents and enforce applicable laws.
• Manage crowd safety and respond to disturbances.
• Respond to emergencies and assist victims as needed.
• Monitor calls, dispatch responses, and prepare reports.
• Maintain MPOETC certifications and weapons qualifications.
