Opti Staffing Group is seeking a personable Leasing Agent for a Seattle affordable housing organization in the Capitol Hill area. You will respond to inquiries, schedule tours, and guide applicants through the leasing process.

This full-time role focuses on accurate documentation, eligibility verification, and maintaining leasing files while ensuring compliance with Fair Housing guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in leasing, property management, or related customer service.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Comfortable communicating with residents by phone, email, and in person.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to handle sensitive applicant information professionally.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with the team.

Responsibilities

• Respond to leasing inquiries from prospective residents.
• Provide information regarding available apartments, rental qualifications, and eligibility requirements.
• Schedule and conduct apartment tours.
• Guide applicants through the rental application and leasing process.
• Collect and review required application documentation.
• Assist with verifying applicant information and eligibility.
• Maintain accurate leasing files, records, and applicant information.
• Follow up with applicants regarding outstanding documentation or next steps.
• Coordinate approved move-ins and lease signings.
• Communicate professionally with applicants, residents, Property Managers, and internal teams.
• Help ensure leasing activities follow Fair Housing requirements and applicable housing guidelines.
