Responsibilities

• Respond to leasing inquiries from prospective residents.
• Provide information regarding available apartments, rental qualifications, and eligibility requirements.
• Schedule and conduct apartment tours.
• Guide applicants through the rental application and leasing process.
• Collect and review required application documentation.
• Assist with verifying applicant information and eligibility.
• Maintain accurate leasing files, records, and applicant information.
• Follow up with applicants regarding outstanding documentation or next steps.
• Coordinate approved move-ins and lease signings.
• Communicate professionally with applicants, residents, Property Managers, and internal teams.
• Help ensure leasing activities follow Fair Housing requirements and applicable housing guidelines.

Our client is a well-established affordable housing organization serving communities throughout the Seattle area. They manage a diverse portfolio of apartment communities and are committed to providing quality, affordable housing while creating welcoming and inclusive environments for residents. They are looking for a personable and organized Leasing Agent who can guide prospective residents through the leasing process while providing excellent customer service and maintaining accurate documentation.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

PREFERRED

• Previous apartment leasing or property management experience
• Affordable housing experience
• Experience with income-restricted, HUD, Section 8, or other regulated housing programs
• Experience reviewing leasing applications and eligibility documentation
