University of Southern California (USC) Facilities Management Services (FPM) seeks an experienced project administrator to support construction project managers in planning, organizing, and reporting to ensure goals are met within prescribed cost, quality, and contract parameters. The role plans and coordinates detailed aspects of project work.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in project management or construction management.
• Directly related project or administrative experience.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Works on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects.
• Assists construction project managers in administration and coordination of projects to meet goals and objectives.
• Provides technical and contract management support during design, construction and closeout phases.
• Prepares scopes, budgets and schedules for assignments.
• Assists with RFQ/RFP preparation and scoping statements for contracts.
• Coordinates between architect and general contractor with GMP contracts.
• Conducts monthly job walks with contractors to validate percent completion.
