Baker Tilly's Construction and Real Estate Advisory practice seeks a Consulting Manager to lead reviews of projects, contracts, and real estate operations across the United States. You will develop actionable recommendations and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver value.

The role emphasizes risk management, client relationship skills, and travel up to 25%. A strong background in construction and real estate, plus relevant certifications, is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of related experience in construction management, real estate advisory, capital projects consulting, or related fields.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Building Science, Construction Management, Accounting; CPA, CIA, CCA, CFE, PMP, or PE preferred
• Knowledge in construction phases & real estate portfolio management, lease administration, and property operations.
• Experience conducting contract compliance audits, CAM reconciliations, and performance monitoring for clients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to produce client-facing reports.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% for client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough reviews of construction and real estate management processes, controls, and compliance to identify improvements.
• Assess construction contracts, real estate lease agreements, and capital project performance for adherence to terms and regulations.
• Provide actionable recommendations to enhance transparency, accountability, and efficiency.
• Lead fieldwork including data collection, site visits, interviews, and reporting of findings for clients and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with project managers, asset managers, legal counsel, and clients to support oversight and risk mitigation.
• Support lifecycle of real estate and capital projects from acquisition to disposition.
