Job summary

Baker Tilly US, LLP is seeking a Consulting Manager for the Construction and Real Estate Advisory practice. You will perform program reviews, contract cost audits, and real estate assessments across the United States, collaborating with project teams and clients to deliver integrated solutions.

The role requires at least five years of relevant experience, a degree in engineering/architecture/construction management or accounting, and willingness to travel up to 25% to support engagements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of related experience in construction or real estate advisory.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Building Science, Construction Management, Accounting, or related field; professional certifications preferred.
• Knowledge across planning, pre-construction, contracts, scheduling, cost estimating, reporting, closeout, and portfolio management.
• Experience conducting contract compliance audits and CAM reconciliations for public and private sector clients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to lead projects and coordinate cross-functional teams; willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Conduct reviews of construction and real estate processes to identify improvement opportunities.
• Assess construction contracts, lease agreements, and capital project performance for compliance.
• Provide actionable recommendations to improve transparency and efficiency.
• Lead fieldwork, data collection, site visits, interviews, and report preparation for clients.
• Collaborate with project managers, asset managers, legal counsel, contractors, and clients.
• Support lifecycle from acquisition to disposition ensuring alignment with objectives.
