Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking a Consulting Manager in Wisconsin to lead construction and real estate advisory engagements across the United States. You will perform program reviews, audits, and management assessments, pairing technical expertise with client-focused service.

Collaborate with project managers, asset managers, and legal teams, develop actionable recommendations, and help clients navigate capital projects and real estate challenges from acquisition through disposition.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years in construction management or real estate advisory.
• Experience with contract cost audits and capital projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication with client-facing reports.

Responsibilities

• Conduct construction and real estate reviews, processes, controls and compliance frameworks to identify improvements.
• Assess construction contracts, real estate lease agreements, and capital project performance for contractual and regulatory adherence.
• Provide actionable recommendations to enhance transparency, accountability and efficiency of operations.
• Lead fieldwork activities including data collection, site visits, interviews, and documentation; prepare reports and presentations for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including project managers, asset managers, legal counsel, clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to support oversight and risk mitigation.
• Support clients through the real estate and capital project lifecycle—from acquisition to disposition—ensuring alignment with business objectives.
