Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Project Quality Manager II to own quality on capital projects from the owner's or EPC side, writing the project quality plan, setting surveillance and audit programs for contractors and suppliers, and reporting quality performance to the project manager and the owner's quality organization.

You will lead audits, qualify vendors and inspection subcontractors, own the nonconformance and corrective-action processes, and ensure records will stand up at turnover,

Qualifications

• 6+ years of quality experience on construction or industrial capital projects
• 2+ years leading a project quality program
• ISO 9001 lead or internal auditor certification; ASQ CQA or CMQ-OE preferred
• Experience with owner-side quality programs in industrial, energy, infrastructure, or federal work
• Ability to write quality requirements that contractors can execute and enforce

Responsibilities

• Write the project quality plan and contractor/supplier quality requirements
• Plan and lead surveillance and audits of contractors and suppliers
• Qualify vendors and inspection agencies; review QC plans, ITPs, procedures, and inspector qualifications
• Own the project nonconformance, corrective-action, and lessons-learned processes
• Report quality metrics and risks to project leadership and the owner's quality organization
• Ensure turnover documentation is complete and auditable
