Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Project Quality Manager II to own the quality on capital projects from the owner's or EPC's side. You write the project quality plan, set the surveillance and audit program for contractors and suppliers, qualify vendors and inspection subcontractors, and report quality performance to the project manager and the owner's quality organization.

You will lead audits, review QC plans, and own the nonconformance process, with opportunities for growth to PM III

Qualifications

• 6+ years in quality on construction or industrial capital projects.
• ISO 9001 lead or internal auditor certification preferred.
• ASQ CQA or CMQ-OE preferred.
• Experience with owner-side quality programs in industrial, energy, infrastructure, or federal work.
• Ability to write quality requirements that contractors can execute.

Responsibilities

• Write the project quality plan and contractor/supplier quality requirements.
• Plan and lead surveillance and audits of contractors and suppliers.
• Qualify vendors and inspection agencies.
• Review and accept contractor QC plans, ITPs, procedures, and inspector qualifications.
• Own nonconformance, corrective-action, and lessons-learned processes.
• Report quality metrics and risks to project leadership.
