Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Project Quality Manager II to own quality on capital projects from the owner's/EPC side. You write the project quality plan, set surveillance/audit programs for contractors and suppliers, and qualify vendors and inspection subcontractors, reporting quality performance to project leadership.

You will manage nonconformance, corrective actions, and lessons learned, while ensuring turnover readiness and compliance with client quality systems.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in quality on construction or industrial capital projects.
• 2+ years leading a project quality program.
• ISO 9001 lead or internal auditor certification required or preferred.
• Experience with owner-side quality programs in industrial, energy, infrastructure, or federal work.

Responsibilities

• Write the project quality plan and contractor and supplier quality requirements that flow from it.
• Plan and lead surveillance and audits of contractors and suppliers.
• Qualify vendors and inspection agencies; Review and accept contractor QC plans, ITPs, procedures, and inspector qualifications.
• Own the project nonconformance, corrective-action, and lessons-learned processes.
• Report quality metrics and risks to project leadership and the owner's quality organization.
