Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Project Quality Manager II to own the quality on capital projects from the owner's or EPC's side. You will write the project quality plan, drive surveillance and audits of contractors and suppliers, and lead the qualification of vendors and inspection agencies.

You will review contractor QC plans, ITPs, procedures, and inspector qualifications, and own nonconformance and corrective-action processes while reporting quality metrics to project leadership

Qualifications

• 6+ years in quality on construction or industrial capital projects
• 2+ years leading a project quality program
• ISO 9001 lead or internal auditor certification
• ASQ CQA or CMQ-OE preferred
• Experience with owner-side quality programs in industrial, energy, infrastructure, or federal work
• Able to write quality requirements that contractors can actually execute, and to enforce them

Responsibilities

• Write the project quality plan and the contractor and supplier quality requirements that flow from it
• Plan and lead surveillance and audits of contractors and suppliers
• Qualify vendors and inspection agencies
• Review and accept contractor QC plans, ITPs, procedures, and inspector qualifications
• Own the project nonconformance, corrective-action, and lessons-learned processes
• Report quality metrics and risks to project leadership and the owner's quality organization
