Job summary

ERM is seeking a Managing Consultant, Capital Project Delivery in the Western Region to lead environmental impact assessments and permitting for large-scale energy and technology projects. You will guide strategies, collaborate with global experts, and influence project design and execution.

Lead complex permitting efforts, manage client relationships, and mentor junior staff while driving ERM’s growth in the energy and tech practice.

Qualifications

• 8+ years equivalent experience in project management and permitting.
• Experience with federal, state, and local permitting and planning (NEPA/CEQA).
• Strong technical writing and communication skills for reports and presentations.
• Ability to manage budgets, multiple priorities, and mentor junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex permitting and compliance for energy and technology sector projects, including NEPA/CEQA.
• Oversee preparation of permitting documents, environmental reviews, and impact assessment deliverables.
• Provide expertise on permitting strategies, due diligence, and quality control.
