Asset Living is seeking a Capital Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of small- to mid-scale capital improvements for multifamily and commercial assets. You will manage budgets, coordinate vendors, and ensure work meets quality standards and timelines.

The role emphasizes coordination and oversight rather than ground-up construction leadership, with focus on risk, compliance, and timely reporting to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Facilities Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Experience managing capital, maintenance, or light construction projects within multifamily or commercial real estate is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of capital repair processes, building systems, and property operations.
• Excellent coordination, vendor management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to define goals, scope, and requirements for capital projects.
• Develop concise project plans outlining tasks, timelines, resources, and milestones.
• Assess historical property performance and owner objectives to prioritize initiatives.
• Develop and manage budgets for small-scale capital projects and track expenditures.
• Source, evaluate, and coordinate vendors and service providers; obtain bids and contracts.
• Monitor progress with on-site visits, photos, and milestone verification.
