Job summary

Sterling Management is seeking a Project Manager to lead capital improvement projects within the Multifamily Portfolio. You will define scope, manage schedules, and oversee contractors to ensure quality and regulatory compliance across a defined region.

Based in Fargo, North Dakota, you will collaborate with leadership and property teams to align projects with budget, portfolio goals, and Sterling’s values of integrity and transparency. Salary starts at $62,500 annually and grows with experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, business, or related field preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage detailed project budgets and forecasts.
• Negotiate with vendors for pricing and favorable terms.
• Review invoices, ensure contract compliance, and process change orders.
• Maintain project records, schedules, and financial reporting.
• Oversee contractor prequalification, selection, and performance expectations.
• Develop and execute capital improvement strategies across assigned markets.
