Job summary

American States Water Company is seeking a Capital Program Supervisor to oversee capital projects in water and wastewater systems. The role focuses on planning, budgeting, resource coordination and compliance with safety standards.

The incumbent will supervise Capital Project Coordinators and Inspectors, prepare risk reports, and present progress to management while ensuring regulatory and company requirements are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Engineering or Construction Management or related field.
• PMI, AAPM, or PE license within 2 years of employment.
• Minimum 5 years managing public works/public utility projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of assigned capital projects.
• Coordinate resources with operations, engineering design and water quality.
• Develop scopes of work and cost estimates for RFPs and projects.
• Plan, monitor and report project schedules and budgets.
