Job summary

The Arkema Group’s Clear Lake Acrylic Monomers facility seeks a Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of capital projects in support of reliability, safety, and growth objectives.

You will manage a portfolio of 20–40 projects annually with oversight of budgets over $10MM, coordinate engineering and construction resources, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements while partnering with Operations, Maintenance and procurement teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of progressive engineering, project engineering, or project management experience.
• Experience managing capital projects in manufacturing, chemical, petrochemical, refining, energy, or related process industries.
• Familiarity with Front End Loading (FEL) or Stage-Gate project execution methodologies.
• Ability to influence and achieve results without formal authority.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned capital projects through all stages of the project lifecycle from concept through startup and closeout.
• Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, execution plans, and resource requirements.
• Ensure projects meet safety, quality, scope, schedule, and budget objectives.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate project reviews, design reviews, and stage-gate approvals.
