Job summary

The Infrastructure Project Manager for the Town of Brattleboro serves as the department's principal manager for planning, funding, delivery, and administration of the Capital Improvement Program and project management center of excellence.

This role leads capital planning, standardized project practices, consultant management, grant administration, procurement, construction observation, and interdepartmental coordination for transportation, water, wastewater, parks, facilities, and other public

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in public infrastructure or capital projects.
• PMI PMP or equivalent certification.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to sites.
• Strong leadership, communication, and budgeting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Town capital improvement projects from initiation to closeout.
• Develop procurement and grant strategies; manage consultants and contracts.
• Coordinate design, permitting, procurement, construction, and closeout activities.
• Prepare reports, updates, and funding requests for boards and the public.
• Coordinate with multiple departments and regulators; ensure compliance.
