Georgia Tech in Atlanta seeks a facilities project manager to plan and coordinate capital investment projects for assigned units. You will direct engineering, design, and construction and manage lifecycle replacements for flooring, paint, and lighting, coordinating with unit leadership to advance the master plan.

The role requires 4–6 years of experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and a valid Georgia Driver’s License.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid Georgia Driver's License.
• 4–6 years of related experience with renovation projects and project scheduling.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and mechanical plans.
• Experience negotiating contracts and managing small-to-medium projects.
• Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in planning exercises for capital investment projects and assess MR&R programs.
• Oversee lifecycle replacement schedule for flooring, paint, and lighting.
• Manage project schedules from concept to punch list.
• Track updates and coordinate with unit leaders and campus partners.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors and stakeholders.
• Develop scope of work and conduct pre-construction meetings; review quotes.
• Review project scope and plans to ensure alignment with objectives.
• Conduct periodic inspections and report contractor performance.
• Coordinate IT, FFE moves, office relocations, utility shutdowns.
• Assist EH&S with room inspections and coordinate remediation.
