Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Project Quality Manager II to own quality for capital projects on the owner's/EPC side. You will write the project quality plan, define vendor and contractor quality requirements, and lead surveillance and audits to ensure compliance through turnover.

You will work with project leadership to report metrics, manage nonconformance, and drive continuous improvement. Requires field readiness, driver’s license, and ability to be on active jobsites.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in quality on construction or industrial capital projects.
• 2+ years leading a project quality program.
• ISO 9001 lead or internal auditor certification.
• ASQ CQA or CMQ-OE preferred.
• Experience with owner-side quality programs in industrial, energy, infrastructure, or federal work.
• Able to write quality requirements that contractors can actually execute, and to enforce them.

Responsibilities

• Write the project quality plan and the contractor and supplier quality requirements that flow from it.
• Plan and lead surveillance and audits of contractors and suppliers.
• Review and accept contractor QC plans, ITPs, procedures, and inspector qualifications.
• Own the project nonconformance, corrective-action, and lessons-learned processes.
• Report quality metrics and risks to project leadership and the owner's quality organization.
