Job summary

Targa Resources in Houston, TX seeks a Project Controls Coordinator/Specialist to support capital project execution through cost control, scheduling, and document management for the Engineering & Construction team. You will monitor financials, track KPIs, and ensure policy compliance while supporting closeout activities.

The role involves reviewing POs, maintaining project documentation quality, and delivering training on controls processes to PMs and admins, with regular reporting to management.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Power BI for reporting and analytics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to travel occasionally to field locations.

Responsibilities

• Support cost control, scheduling, and document management for E&C projects.
• Monitor project financials and KPIs, including monthly accruals by open POs.
• Assist with pre-bid supplier validation and AFE structure review in Integrify.
• Report on budgeting variances and assist with CAPEX forecast accuracy.
• Audit AFE status with Power BI for In Service/Request Close milestones.
• Support project closeout activities: cost/schedule analysis, lessons learned, documentation quality.
