Job summary

Cooley LLP is seeking a resource attorney for the Capital Markets practice to support marketing, know-how sharing, and practice innovation. The role focuses on staying current on legal developments, producing client alerts, and coordinating with marketing and PD teams.

The successful candidate will be licensed, have 5+ years in representing issuers and underwriters in capital markets, and possess strong drafting and presentation skills, with a team-oriented mindset and ability to manage multiple

Qualifications

• Licensed attorney with at least 5 years in capital markets representations.
• Strong understanding of corporate governance and SEC reporting requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and drafting skills.

Responsibilities

• Keep current on legal and regulatory developments relevant to Capital Markets.
• Develop topics for client alerts, white papers and external-facing tools.
• Maintain internal know-how resources and facilitate interaction with clients and prospective clients.
• Coordinate with Marketing and Practice groups on branding and business development.
• Assist with coordination of speaking engagements, webinars and materials.
• Update forms and templates reflecting current developments and terms.
