Responsibilities and Practice

The New York office of Dentons US LLP is seeking a mid-level associate to join our sophisticated Chambers-rated Capital Markets practice. Candidates should have 2-5 years of legal experience in structured finance, including experience with purchase and sale transactions, servicing agreements, and financings. The selected candidate will be part of a dedicated team with responsibilities including, but not limited to:

  • Representing purchasers, sellers, servicers, creditors, and borrowers, including banks, finance companies, private equity funds, hedge funds, public companies, and private companies in structured finance transactions, including purchase and sale transactions, servicing agreements, and financing transactions.
  • Drafting and negotiating primary transaction documents and agreements.
  • Communicating with clients and transaction counterparties.
  • Working collaboratively to manage closings.
  • Supporting the practice as needed.

This role offers the opportunity to work alongside partners in a dynamic, team-oriented environment while benefiting from the resources of an international law firm. Dentons' US Capital Markets practice has been a leader in securitization and structured finance for over three decades, representing major banking and financial institutions involved in securitization and trust aspects.

Pursuant to New York law, the salary range for this position is $235,000 - $365,000, commensurate with experience. Dentons associates may hold titles such as Associate, Managing Associate, or Senior Managing Associate, based on years of experience. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), disability insurance, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, holidays, and discretionary bonuses.
