Responsibilities and Practice

Dentons US LLP seeks an associate with 3-5 years of legal experience in regulatory work to join our Chambers-rated Capital Markets practice. The successful candidate will work closely with partners, counsel, and associates focusing on financial services regulation, particularly consumer credit regulation and licensing. This position is based in our New York office and involves responsibilities such as:

  • Managing federal and state consumer and commercial credit regulatory issues
  • Conducting research on credit regulatory issues at federal and state levels
  • Drafting legal memoranda analyzing credit regulatory issues
  • Assisting with regulatory due diligence for investors and lenders
  • Supporting regulatory licensing processes for clients
  • Collaborating with the team on various regulatory matters

This role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals in a dynamic, team-oriented environment within an international law firm. Dentons' US Capital Markets practice has been a leader in securitization and structured finance for over three decades, representing a broad range of financial institutions and market participants in the US and internationally.

The salary range for this position, pursuant to New York law, is $260,000 to $365,000, commensurate with experience. The title may vary from Associate to Senior Managing Associate based on experience.
