Job summary

Texas Capital Bank seeks an Investment Banking Analyst to support capitalization scenarios, market updates, and due diligence. You will prepare marketing materials and assist senior deal teams in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a solid foundation in accounting/finance, 2+ years IB experience, and excellent communication. On-site work across our Texas offices is expected, with opportunities to mentor new analysts.

Qualifications

• Completion of an investment banking analyst training program.
• Advanced knowledge of accounting and finance.
• Strong analytical/technical and qualitative abilities.
• Strong financial and computer skills (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• 2+ years of Investment Banking experience.

Responsibilities

• Work within corporate models to develop base and sensitivity cases pro forma for capitalization scenarios.
• Build pitches and weekly market updates including market conditions and comps/RVAs.
• Participate in business and financial due diligence, aggregating key findings.
• Prepare marketing materials and presentations for management and clients.
• Understand syndicated and institutional loan markets and high yield capital markets.
• Participate in legal calls to learn engagement papers and credit agreements.
• Communicate effectively with the team and manage multiple tasks.
• Mentor incoming analysts.

Key Responsibilities

• Work within corporate models to develop base and sensitivity cases pro forma for proposed capitalization scenarios
• Build pitches and weekly market updates including market conditions, comps/RVAs, execution strategies and term sheets, as directed by senior deal team members
• Participate in business and financial due diligence, aggregating key findings for the team’s benefit
• Prepare marketing materials, confidential information presentations, management presentations, and other presentations as needed
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of key factors in the syndicated and institutional loan markets and high yield capital markets
• Participate in legal calls to gain familiarity with engagement papers, commitment documents and credit agreements
• Communicate effectively with all members of the team, taking responsibility for the timely completion of tasks and management in the midst of multiple simultaneous work streams
• Mentor incoming analysts

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple project deliverables simultaneously
