Job summary

Texas Capital Bank in Dallas, TX, seeks an Investment Banking Analyst to support deal teams with financial modeling, due diligence, and market analysis. You will prepare pitches, term sheets, and client presentations under senior guidance.

The role requires strong accounting/finance knowledge, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment. FINRA licenses are preferred; unlicensed hires must complete licensing within the designated period.

Qualifications

  • Completion of an investment banking analyst training program.
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting and finance.
  • Strong analytical/technical and qualitative abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • 2+ years of investment banking experience.
  • FINRA Series 79 and 63 licenses preferred; If unlicensed, registration must be completed within a designated period following the date of hire.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with internal partners and external clients.
  • Excellent public speaking and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple project deliverables simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Build pitches and weekly market updates including market conditions, comps/RVAs, execution strategies and term sheets, as directed by senior deal team members
  • Participate in business and financial due diligence, aggregating key findings for the team’s benefit
  • Prepare marketing materials, confidential information presentations, management presentations, and other presentations as needed
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of key factors in the syndicated and institutional loan markets and high yield capital markets
  • Participate in legal calls to gain familiarity with engagement papers, commitment documents and credit agreements
  • Communicate effectively with all members of the team, taking responsibility for the timely completion of tasks and management in the midst of multiple simultaneous work streams
  • Mentor incoming analysts
