Job summary

City of Casa Grande is seeking a Capital Improvement Program Manager to lead development, redevelopment and capital projects from scope to warranty period. The role requires coordinating with multiple departments, external agencies and contractors to ensure timely, within-budget delivery.

Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least six years of public-sector construction project management experience.

• Knowledge of regulatory and procedural requirements regarding development and construction project review and approvals.

Responsibilities

• Manages and directs capital improvement projects, coordinating with departments and external agencies.
• Develops and refines project scope, objectives and priorities.
• Prepares RFPs/RFQs, manages consultant selection, and assists in contract/bid documentation.
• Sets completion timelines and ensures fiscal accountability and resource allocation.
• Advances projects through implementation phases and delivers status reports.
