Job summary

Nestlé USA is seeking a Capital Engineering Manager to lead capital governance, portfolio execution, and cross-functional collaboration across factories and categories. You will ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while aligning investments with Master Plans and strategic priorities.

The role requires senior engineering leadership, strong financial acumen, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in capital programs.

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of engineering experience within manufacturing environments.
Proven experience leading capital projects and capital portfolios.
Experience working cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, and Corporate Engineering.
Experience with TPM, NCE, asset management, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Ability to influence across multiple organizational levels and lead through ambiguity.

Responsibilities

Own capital portfolio visibility and governance for assigned factories and categories.
Develop and prioritize annual, three-year, and long-range capital plans.
Drive alignment of capital investments with Master Plans, MBS priorities, and category growth strategies.
Monitor capital envelope performance and identify risks, constraints, and resource gaps.
Provide recommendations on project prioritization and capital allocation to maximize business value.
Drive stage-gate governance and EFCA compliance throughout project lifecycles.
Ensure project charters, financial justifications, cost estimates, risk assessments, schedules, and plans meet standards before approval.
Maintain engineering resources, SMEs, vendors, and external experts for projects.
Promote safety, quality, regulatory compliance, and knowledge sharing across factories.
