Job summary

Nestlé USA is seeking a Project Engineer to lead capital projects from development through commissioning. You will coordinate design, bid, and field execution, ensuring budget, schedule, and quality targets are met.

The role requires hands-on engineering leadership within a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include managing budgets, schedules, and contractor work, while ensuring compliance with GMP and FDA/OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering (BA/BS) or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of related work experience in manufacturing/industrial settings.
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking with data analysis ability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to complete major projects in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital projects from charter through start-up and commissioning.
• Coordinate bid packages, select contractors, and manage construction methods.
• Direct installation, construction and commissioning of assigned projects.
• Monitor budget, progress, and changes with monthly reporting to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, OSHA requirements and quality standards.
• Provide construction management and plant startup support as needed.
• Support Nestlé Continuous Excellence (NCE) and TPM initiatives.
