Job summary

Amrize is seeking a CAPEX Category Manager to define and align strategy for sub commodities across North America. You will become the subject matter expert, lead sourcing events, negotiate complex contracts and drive cost savings with major suppliers.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 5+ years in consulting, sourcing or project management in capital projects, plus strong Excel, SAP and negotiation skills. Travel about 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with relevant field and capital project experience.
• 5+ years in consultant, project management or large capital sourcing.
• Strong MS Excel, PowerPoint and SAP knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Define and align category strategy for sub commodities.
• Lead sourcing processes, RFI/RFPs and supplier selection.
• Negotiate contracts and manage cross-functional teams.
• Develop frame agreements with main suppliers and track savings.
