Job summary

LHH is seeking a Project Engineer to lead CAPEX projects in a manufacturing setting. You will coordinate projects from planning and budgeting through execution, installation, and commissioning, working with engineering, maintenance, production, and operations teams.

The role requires hands-on CAPEX experience, vendor coordination, and strong communication to ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across projects.

Qualifications

• Experience managing CAPEX projects in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, and cost tracking.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specs.
• Strong communication and organization.
• Experience coordinating contractors and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Lead CAPEX projects from planning to completion.
• Develop scopes, estimates, schedules, and justifications.
• Coordinate with engineering, maintenance, production, and ops.
• Manage budgets, timelines, resources, and deliverables.
• Oversee supplier proposals, installations, startup, and commissioning.
• Identify risks and report progress to stakeholders.
• Ensure safety, quality, regulatory, and operational compliance.
• Maintain project documentation and progress reports.
• Identify process improvements for plant performance.
