Job summary

Balchem Corporation, headquartered in Montvale, New Jersey, seeks a CAPEX & MRO Procurement Sourcing Manager to develop and execute sourcing strategies across CAPEX and maintenance categories. You will drive cost optimization, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement while partnering with Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, and Finance to support capital projects and plant reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, Business Management, Engineering, or related field.
• MBA and/or CPM certification preferred.
• 5+ years procurement experience with at least 3 years in project management.
• Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing methodologies and category management.
• Experience with manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement category strategies for CAPEX, industrial services, MRO, spare parts, and related indirect procurement.
• Lead sourcing events: RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, supplier evaluations, negotiations, contracts.
• Identify cost reductions, value engineering, and total cost of ownership improvements.
• Manage supplier relationships and drive performance improvements.
• Negotiate long-term agreements and ensure contract compliance.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, and Finance on procurement planning.
