Acadiana CARES, in collaboration with the Louisiana Office of Public Health STI/HIV/Hepatitis Program, seeks a Capacity Building Specialist to organize and deliver training and technical assistance on HIV care and services.

The role focuses on preparing community partner organizations across Louisiana to provide high-quality services, make referrals, and connect clients to care.

Qualifications

• Experience organizing and delivering training on HIV care and services.
• Knowledge of HIV care systems and service delivery.
• Experience working with vulnerable populations or in case management is preferred.

Capacity Building Specialist Acadiana CARES, in conjunction with the Louisiana Office of Public Health STI/HIV/Hepatitis Program, is advertising for a Capacity Building Specialist.

The Specialist’s primary responsibility is to assist in the organization and provision of training and technical assistance on a variety of subjects related to HIV care and services.

The Capacity Building Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that community partner organizations in Louisiana are prepared to provide, access or make referrals to high quality services throughout the state.

A strong background in training and knowledge of HIV is preferred and experience conducting case management or working with vulnerable populations is strongly preferred.
