Job summary

BD is seeking a Cannula Mechanical Technician in Columbus, Nebraska for the 3rd shift. The role focuses on setting up, changing over, and maintaining production equipment to meet quality and output targets, while training operators and leading floor activities.

Qualified candidates will have a High School diploma or GED, with a mechanical background; an associate degree is preferred. Responsibilities include maintenance records, GMP adherence, and teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing

• Mechanical skills/education/background required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and changeover equipment to ensure production and quality targets.
• Keep equipment running and in good repair to meet standards.
• Generate maintenance records and other reports as required by management.
• Maintain machine cleanliness and perform preventive maintenance.
• Provide coverage for absent colleagues and assist operators on breaks.
• Lead teams in scheduling, process improvement and safety initiatives.
