Job summary

BD in Columbus, Nebraska, is seeking a Cannula Grinder to join our manufacturing team. You will load, grind, inspect, and record production data to ensure quality and safety standards are met, supporting continuous operation in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires ability to read/write and converse in English, and a willingness to train others. A high school diploma or GED is preferred; two years of manufacturing experience can substitute.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred, or 2 years manufacturing experience.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write and converse in English.
• Willingness to train others and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Complete quality inspections in a timely and accurate manner, and record results.
• Perform manual and machine grinding of Cannula.
• Operate grinding equipment and monitor performance.
• Assist with setup, changeovers, and minor repairs on equipment.
• Support QC staff with process capability studies and data collection.
• Maintain equipment operation and production records.
• Inspect and remove defective product and ensure quality.
• Notify setup and technicians when necessary.
• Maintain production waste, quality, and labor records.
• Other duties as required to support BD operations.
