Job summary

Verano is seeking a Cannabis Advisor to deliver exceptional customer service, provide educational guidance on cannabis products, and support patient record management where required. This role is a retail position with a $15/hour rate plus tips, paid on a weekly schedule.

In a fast-paced environment, you will greet customers, educate on product types and usage, ensure order accuracy, and maintain a clean, compliant workspace while supporting store operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of retail or hospitality experience.
• Must be 21 years of age and comply with all local, state, and company regulations.
• Desire to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes and product application/consumption methods.
• Ability to use office equipment (computers and printers) and their included software e.g. Word, Excel, email, etc.
• Learn and understand Federal, State, and local laws relating to the cannabis industry and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a positive attitude and provide excellent customer service.
• Advocate cannabis customer care and education for clients.
• Help customers navigate cannabis products and explain wellness applications.
• Build rapport with regular customers to promote repeat business.
• Assist in stock, merchandising, and displays of regulated and unregulated inventory.
• Complete transactions at the POS and ensure accurate online order pickup.
