Job summary

Verano Holdings is seeking a Cannabis Advisor to deliver exceptional customer service, educate guests on cannabis products, and assist patients with product selection in a fast-paced retail setting.

You will greet customers, build rapport, process transactions, and help maintain compliance with state and local regulations while supporting managers and other Advisors. Knowledge of METRC/BioTrack and POS use is beneficial.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of retail or hospitality experience.
• Must be 21+ and comply with all local, state, and company regulations.
• Criminal background check and state badging as directed by state ordinances.
• Desire to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes and product application/consumption methods.
• Ability to use office equipment (computers and printers) and software (Word, Excel, email).
• Learn and understand Federal, State, and local cannabis laws and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and patients with a positive attitude.
• Educate customers on cannabis products and usage (not medical advice).
• Build rapport with regular customers to promote repeat business.
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment and collaborate with others.
• Provide information on product types, methods and efficacy.
• Process transactions at the POS and ensure inventory systems update accurately (METRC, BioTrack).
• Stock and replenish displays of regulated and unregulated inventory.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and store front.
• Support managers and other Cannabis Advisors as needed.
• Ensure compliance with local and state regulations.
