Job summary

Verano is seeking a Cannabis Advisor in Las Vegas to deliver exceptional individualized customer service, educational consulting, and in some cases patient record management.

You will greet customers with a positive attitude, advocate cannabis customer care, and help customers navigate cannabis products, educating them on wellness uses. Maintain a clean storefront, stock displays, and ensure accurate online orders, while complying with state regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of retail or hospitality experience.
• Must be 21 years of age and comply with all local, state, and company regulations.
• Required to undergo a criminal background check and appropriate state badging (as directed by state ordinances).
• Desire to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes and product application/consumption methods.
• Ability to use office equipment (computers and printers) and their included software i.e. Word, Excel, email, etc.
• Learn and understand Federal, State, and local laws relating to the cannabis industry and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and patients with a positive attitude.
• Advocate cannabis customer care and educate customers on wellness uses.
• Help customers navigate cannabis products and educate on types, methods and efficacy.
• Build rapport with regular customers to promote repeat business.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and storefront.
• Ensure accuracy of online orders before pick-up.
• Comply with detailed local and state regulations and METRC/BioTrack for inventory.
