Job summary

Green Thumb Industries (GTI) seeks a Personal Care Specialist to engage with patients and customers in a cannabis retail setting. You will educate customers, recommend products and methods of consumption, and help ensure a positive store experience while maintaining compliance with regulations.

The role emphasizes friendly, upbeat service, accurate order handling, and collaboration with management to support daily store operations.

Qualifications

• 1+ year customer service experience; preference for retail/customer-facing roles.
• Must meet scheduling and availability requirements for varying shifts (mornings, days, nights, weekends).
• Must have reliable, responsible, and dependable attendance.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must pass all required background checks including state cannabis employment requirements.
• Possess valid driver’s license or state ID.
• Must follow all legal/company cannabis regulations.
• Prior cannabis experience not required.

Responsibilities

• Engage with and assist patients and/or customers in a customer-facing, intimate retail environment.
• Educate customers on products, methods of consumption, and safety as part of patient interaction.
• Utilize product knowledge to recommend safe and effective regimens for each customer.
• Promote a positive, patient/customer-oriented store environment.
• Assist in verifying order deliveries for accuracy.
• Support management to ensure store operations run smoothly and in compliance.
• Ensure local/state cannabis regulations are upheld.
• Keep sales floor stocked and store presentable.
• Maintain required hard copy files and follow security/safety procedures.
• Handle Front of House and Back of House duties as assigned.
