Job summary

Verano Holdings is seeking a Cannabis Advisor to deliver exceptional customer service and educational consultation in a retail cannabis setting. The role involves greeting customers, educating them on cannabis products, and supporting store operations and compliance with state regulations.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, ensuring accurate online order pick-up, and maintaining a clean, compliant workstation while assisting managers and other Advisors as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of retail or hospitality experience.
• Must be 21 years of age and comply with all local, state, and company regulations.
• Criminal background check and appropriate state badging as directed by state ordinances.
• Desire to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes and product application/consumption methods.
• Ability to use office equipment (computers and printers) and their software (e.g., Word, Excel, email).
• Learn and understand federal, state, and local laws relating to the cannabis industry and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and patients with a positive attitude.
• Advocate cannabis customer care.
• Educate customers about cannabis products and usage as a wellness product (not medical advice).
• Build rapport with regular patients/customers to promote repeat business.
• Work well in a fast-paced, retail environment with others.
• Provide information on product types, methods and efficacy.
