Job summary

The Wellness Advisor of Sunnyside* will advise customers on cannabis products, focusing on compliant, consultative service. You will guide recreational, medical, and caregiver customers, ensuring a best-in-class experience with strong product knowledge and adherence to state regulations.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, educating on product effects, handling orders, and maintaining accurate records while supporting inventory and store safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience in customer service; retail or hospitality preferred.
• Flexibility to work opening/closing shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent customer service and ability to engage with customers.
• Ability to learn and apply technical/product information professionally.
• Lift/carry up to 50 pounds (100 pounds with assistance).

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide a best-in-class experience.
• Build relationships by listening and addressing customer needs.
• Educate customers on cannabis products and their effects.
• Apply selling and cross-selling techniques to grow baskets.
• Verify documentation/ID and accuracy of dispensed orders.
• Label, package, and ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Handle cash in POS following SOPs.
• Maintain records and conduct routine inventory counts.
• Ensure stock organization and regulatory compliance.
• Support merchandising, security, and store cleanliness.
• Escalate issues to management as needed.
