Job summary

The Wellness Advisor of Sunnyside will be responsible for advising customers (recreational, medicinal and caregivers) in selecting the proper cannabis products for their needs and act as an ambassador of the company’s mission to normalize, professionalize and revolutionize cannabis.

You will use your customer service, product knowledge and adherence to state compliance regulations to ensure a best‑in‑class experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience in customer service; retail or hospitality preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to engage with customers.
• Willingness to learn cannabinoids and how they interact with the human body.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide a best-in-class experience.
• Verify documentation and ID for customers.
• Conduct consultations and address questions or complaints; escalate as needed.
• Build relationships by listening to customer needs and providing guidance.
• Educate customers on cannabis products and effects to aid selection.
• Apply selling techniques to create baskets and cross-sell where appropriate.
• Ensure accurate orders and perform bag/receipt checks.
• Label, package and organize customer orders with compliance in mind.
• Maintain stock, assist with inventory counts and safety protocols.
• Handle cash in POS following SOPs and recordkeeping requirements.
