Job summary

Renew Cannabis Co. is seeking a dedicated Cannabis Advisor in a fast-paced retail environment. You will provide exceptional customer service, educate customers about cannabis products, and help with patient records where applicable.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, maintaining compliance with state regulations, processing POS transactions, and supporting store teammates to ensure smooth operations and a welcoming shopping experience. A background check is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–2 years of retail or hospitality experience.
• Must be 21 years of age and comply with local/state regulations.
• Background check and appropriate state badging may be required.
• Willingness to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes and product application/consumption methods.
• Ability to use office equipment (computers, printers) and software (Word, Excel, email).
• Learn and understand laws relating to cannabis industry and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and patients with a positive attitude.
• Advocate cannabis customer care and educational guidance.
• Educate customers on cannabis products and usage (not medical advice).
• Build rapport to promote repeat business and provide excellent service.
• Process transactions at the POS and ensure accurate inventory updates.
