Job summary

Verano is seeking a Cannabis Advisor to deliver exceptional customer service and educate customers about cannabis products. You will assist patients and customers with product selection and information, while ensuring regulatory compliance and accurate inventory handling.

The role requires a willingness to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes, and product applications, with strong teamwork in a fast-paced retail setting. Prior retail experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of retail or hospitality experience.
• Must be 21+ and comply with local, state and company regulations.
• Criminal background check and appropriate state badging.
• Desire to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes and product application/consumption methods.
• Ability to use office equipment (computers and printers) and software (Word, Excel, email).
• Learn and understand Federal, State, and local laws relating to the cannabis industry and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and patients with a positive attitude.
• Advocate cannabis customer care and provide educational consulting.
• Educate customers on cannabis products and their use as a wellness product.
• Build rapport with regular customers to promote repeat business.
• Work well in a fast-paced retail environment and support managers and other Cannabis Advisors.
• Maintain clean, organized, and sanitized workstation and storefront.
