Job summary

GTI is seeking a Personal Care Specialist to engage customers in a retail cannabis setting, educate on products and safety, and tailor recommendations to individual needs. The role emphasizes compliance with local regulations, accurate POS handling, and teamwork with management.

Ideal candidates have customer service experience, flexibility with shifts, and a reliable attendance record. Must be 21+, pass background checks, and have a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• At least one year of customer service experience; preference for candidates with specialty, customer-facing retail experience.
• Meet the scheduling and availability requirements (i.e., ability to work a schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as mornings, days, nights, and weekends) to meet business needs.
• Must have reliable, responsible, and dependable attendance.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must pass all required background checks including state-specific cannabis employment requirements.
• Possess valid driver’s license or state ID.
• Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the cannabis industry.

Responsibilities

• Engage with and assist patients and/or customers in a customer-facing, intimate retail environment.
• Educate patients/customers on products, methods of consumption, and safety as part of patient interaction.
• Recommend safe and effective regimens based on individual needs and ensure up-to-date product knowledge.
• Promote a positive, communicative, patient/customer-oriented work environment.
• Verify order deliveries for accuracy and support store operations to run smoothly and compliantly.
