Job summary

Verano Holdings Corp. is hiring a Cannabis Advisor for its Daytona Beach, FL retail location. Responsibilities include greeting customers, educating on cannabis products, and ensuring accurate online order pickup in a fast-paced retail setting.

Ideal candidates will have 1–2 years of retail or hospitality experience, be 21+, and willing to undergo background checks and state badging while learning about cannabinoids and product use. Knowledge of local/state laws is valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of retail or hospitality experience.
• Must be 21 years of age and comply with all local, state, and company regulations.
• Required to undergo a criminal background check and appropriate state badging (as directed by state ordinances).
• Desire to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes and product application/consumption methods.
• Ability to use office equipment (computers and printers) and their included software i.e. Word, Excel, email, etc.
• Learn and understand Federal, State, and local laws relating to the cannabis industry and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and patients with a positive attitude.
• Advocate cannabis customer care and assist in product navigation and education.
• Build rapport with regular customers to promote repeat business.
• Provide information on types, methods and efficacy of cannabis products (not medical advice).
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and store front; ensure accurate online order pickup.
• Understand and apply compliance regulations as required by local and state laws.
