Job summary

Curio Wellness is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to drive revenue across Maryland by planning territory coverage, developing dispensary relationships, and executing targeted sales strategies. You will lead visits, coordinate pop-ups, and ensure product displays meet marketing goals.

The role requires 5+ years in cannabis or related retail sales, proficiency with sales data systems, and a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in cannabis, pharmaceutical or consumer product goods retail sales with a proven track record of increasing revenues and shelf space.
• Experience working in sales management systems and using data to make decision making.
• Personal vehicle and ability to drive to dispensaries in designated territory as well as to HQ weekly for General Sales Meeting.
• Existing knowledge of the cannabis market preferred.
• Flex schedule—this position requires availability to work evenings and weekends, as needed.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed weekly revenue targets for assigned customers.
• Increase sales and profits by organically growing existing key customers and developing relationships with key decision makers.
• Adopt the Curio Wellness Way of client-focused selling.
• Manage relationships with assigned customers (approximately 25 independent dispensaries in territory).
• Effectively plan and execute weekly customer visits.
• Schedule and staff periodic pop-ups at customer locations to meet patients, solicit product feedback, distribute product information, and gifts-with-purchase materials.
• Install merchandising and marketing materials in customer locations in territory.
• Assist customers with merchandising dummy packaging, printed educational materials, and uploading digital marketing assets to displays and online menus, upon request.
• Offer periodic brand trainings to new customer staff to ensure dispensary agents understand the key elements of Curio Wellness, Dixie, Fuzed, Kaviar, Mary’s Medicinals and Smokiez products.
• Observe and communicate new products and market information to Director of Sales
• Observe and communicate marketing initiatives and sales trends to Director of Sales
• Comply with all HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure
