Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required or equivalent experience.
• Proven knowledge of retail operations, merchandising, and sales.
• Experience with METRC or BioTrack preferred.
• Demonstrated success driving retail sales and leading teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of store performance with a focus on sales growth, operational efficiency, and profitability, while delivering a best-in-class customer service experience.
• Monitor and analyze KPIs with reports on sales, customer satisfaction, and inventory to meet targets weekly, monthly, and annually.
• Network with local organizations and community leaders and participate in approved initiatives by upper management.
• Train employees on POS systems, Customer Loyalty Programs, METRC/BioTrack, shrink and safety protocols, and cash handling.
• Stay informed on consumer trends and regulatory changes to tailor product offerings and optimize sales strategies.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels and communicate discrepancies to compliance and upper management.
• Lead internal store meetings and provide feedback on development, opportunities, and improvements.
• Maintain visual standards including merchandising, signage, lighting, and store upkeep.
• Develop staff schedules to ensure proper coverage during peak hours.
• Comply with cash handling policies and perform daily cash management tasks and reports.
• Collaborate with HR to interview, hire, onboard, and review employee performance.
• Ensure adherence to local and state laws and inspection requirements.
• Open and close the store, secure premises, prepare registers, and run end-of-day reports.
• Remain available to support business needs and adjust schedules as needed.
