Good Day Farm is seeking a Lead for a cannabis retail environment in Missouri. The role focuses on driving performance, fostering an inclusive store culture, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

You will blend hands‑on leadership with operational knowledge and a passion for cannabis education. The position emphasizes training staff, coaching, daily huddles, and maintaining standards of customer service while managing inventory, cash handling, and store operations.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of cannabis products, strains, and industry trends.
• Strong understanding of local and state regulations governing cannabis operations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel to multiple locations per week.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive attitude and flexibility.
• Familiarity with POS systems, Dutchie, METRC, or other cannabis‑specific software preferred.
• Strong cash counting skills.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train staff, build daily huddles and zone charts, motivate the team to reach goals.
• Role model leadership by example and maintain company standards.
• Coach staff and set performance standards for all team members.
• Assist management in day-to-day leadership and store maintenance.
• Promote inclusion, team morale, and professional growth; participate in events and promotions.
• Manage inventory processes, reconciliation, and vault organization to prevent loss.
• Oversee cash handling, nightly deposits, and closing procedures.
• Drive sales through customer engagement and upselling.
